Title: IT Specialist / End User

Location: Austin, TX – Onsite
Pay Rate: $30–$32/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Target Start Date: October 5, 2026
Assignment Length: 6-Month W2 Assignment

The Opportunity

We're looking for a customer-focused Tier 2 IT Specialist to join a growing End User Services team supporting one of the organization's largest office locations.

The Austin office is expanding rapidly and is expected to encompass approximately 10 floors with roughly 900 employees associated with the site. You'll work alongside an established onsite IT team while also contributing to the broader support queue.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid-career IT professional with approximately 2–5 years of enterprise End User Services experience who wants to sharpen their technical skills, learn from an experienced team and potentially grow into larger responsibilities.

The position begins as a 6-month contract with potential for full-time conversion based on performance, business need and budget. Conversion is not guaranteed.

What You’ll Do

·       Provide Tier 2 end-user support for onsite and remote employees.

·       Troubleshoot hardware, software, endpoint, authentication and network/connectivity issues.

·       Support an environment consisting primarily of macOS, with Windows also in use.

·       Troubleshoot IAM/access issues in an Okta environment.

·       Support Google Workspace and common enterprise collaboration applications.

·       Navigate Jamf and/or Intune to support endpoint troubleshooting and follow established procedures.

·       Manage incidents and service requests through Jira, ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools.

·       Support employees ranging from business users to developers, engineers and executives.

·       Participate in the broader/global IT ticket queue.

·       Escalate complex issues to Tier 3/IT Engineering and specialized technology teams when appropriate.

·       Maintain clear ticket and technical documentation.

·       Collaborate with a global End User Services team.

·       Look for opportunities to improve processes rather than simply close tickets.

What We’re Looking For

·       2+ years of enterprise IT support / End User Services experience; approximately 2–5 years is the ideal target.

·       Strong macOS troubleshooting experience.

·       Working proficiency with Windows.

·       IAM experience; Okta preferred.

·       Experience with Google Workspace.

·       Familiarity with Jamf and/or Intune.

·       Experience using Jira, ServiceNow or comparable ITSM systems.

·       Strong troubleshooting methodology and ability to explain technical decisions.

·       Excellent customer service and communication.

·       Ability to comfortably interact with executives and technical employees.

·       Collaborative, proactive and dependable approach.

·       Interest in learning, improving processes and developing professionally.
