Technology Controls Tester

The Controls Tester will contribute to the development and testing of technology and internal controls, collaborate with control stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

\n
• Support the maintenance of a comprehensive internal controls programthat addresses risks and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Collaborate with othercontrol professionals to assess, document, and test controlsacross the Technology organization.
\n
• Develop strong workingrelationships with controlowners to facilitate the effort of gathering and submitting evidence.
\n
• Identify controldeficiencies and work with the team to develop remediation plans.
\n
• Monitor issue remediation and provide monthlystatus updates for issues under the Chief Information Officer’s organization.
\n
• Participate in the review and update of control policiesand procedures to ensure they are current, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
\n
• Prepare reports on the statusof the internal controls program and assist in providing regular updates to management.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• An understanding of internal controlframeworks and regulations, e.g., COSO, SOX, PCI, and other relevant standards.
\n
• Ability to collaborate with other controlprofessionals to assess,document, and test controls.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with the abilityto identify and resolve control issues.
\n
• Excellent communication skills,both written and verbal, with the abilityto effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and competing demands.
\n
• 2+ years of experience in internal controls, audit, or related fields.
\n
• Broad knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Excel,Word, PowerPoint, etc.
\n

Preferred background/skills:

\n
• Basic knowledge of GRC practices in a Technology environment.
\n
• Experience and knowledgeof working within a GRC system (e.g., Archer)
\n
